Every Profile that you create on your account is assigned a Profile Contact.
This is the person who will receive messages, notifications and updates regarding this particular profile on Tourbook. For example, if you run 2 venues and different members of your team manage each venue, you can assign the correct team member to each venue.
A Profile Contact will:
- receive all messages sent by others to your Profile
- receive notifications of new bookings added for your Profile
- receive notifications of updates or changes to bookings for your Profile
By default, the Account Admin is set as the Profile Contact for any new Profiles created.
Viewing Current Profile Contact
- Go to your Dashboard
- Click on the Profile Tab
- Under Profile Name of each Profile listed you will see the currently assigned Contact for that page.
Re-assigning a Page Contact
- Go to your Dashboard
- Click on the Profile Tab
- Find the Profile you'd like to update.
- Click on Manage Settings
- Select the Team Member you'd like to add as the Profile Contact from the dropdown menu.
- Click Assign.
Note: Only Team Members who are set as Admins or Editors can be assigned as a page contact. If you would like to select a Team Member who does not appear you can visit Dashboard > Account > Team and upgrade their permissions.
